With the help of an NEH Digital Humanities Start-up Grant in 2008/9, REED began the work of developing a new online initiative. eREED publications will make available fully searchable, open access digital editions of forthcoming REED collections. For the results of the first phase of this project, see the Download Scripts page.
In 2012, an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation grant allowed REED to build the TEI-encoded Fortune Theatre Records: A Prototype Digital Edition, in collaboration with the Department of Digital Humanities at King’s College London, the Centre for Digital Humanities at Ryerson University, and the University of Toronto Libraries. To learn more about this TEI-encoded prototype edition, please download the Fortune White Paper written by the collaborators or a directory containing files used in the project.
